Business strategist. Tough love cheerleader. Joy-led mentor.
What if I told you that the most successful people you admire aren't just talented or lucky—they're tenacious? In the final episode of the HEART Framework solo podcast series, we got into the final pillar: Transform Through Tenacity.
Because strategy, vision, consistency, and even courage mean very little if you don't have the grit to keep going.
Whether you're in year one or ten of your business journey, this post is for you if:
You feel like giving up.
You wonder if it's all worth it.
You're craving a breakthrough but don't know how to get there.
Let me show you why tenacity is your superpower.
Tenacity is not just "trying hard." It's the determination to keep going even when things are hard, slow, or downright disappointing. It’s the decision to stay in the game even when the scoreboard isn’t reflecting the effort you’re putting in.
It looks like:
Launching something again, even when the first round flopped.
Showing up to sell, even when no one's buying.
Adjusting, learning, and evolving instead of quitting.
Tenacity is the reason the messy middle turns into a meaningful transformation.
And spoiler alert: every single business owner I know who’s thriving? They didn’t get there by having the perfect plan. They got there by staying in the game.
You can have the best ideas in the world, the most beautiful brand, the most aligned offers. But if you can’t keep going when things are quiet, confusing, or chaotic? You’re building on sand.
Success isn't about working 24/7. It's about coming back to your vision again and again, tweaking, testing, and trusting.
Think about it like this:
"Tenacity is the bridge between your dream and your delivery."
Without it, the dream never gets built.
There have been so many moments I could have walked away from my business. From slow seasons to failed launches to the self-doubt that creeps in when nothing seems to be working.
But what kept me going wasn’t a magic answer or perfect strategy, it was the decision to keep going. Even when the results weren’t immediate. Even when I felt like I wasn’t cut out for it. Even when I was tired.
That’s the transformation. Not a before-and-after Instagram reel. But the internal growth that happens when you do hard things on purpose, for long enough that they start to work.
1. Make Peace With Slow Progress
You're not behind. You're just building something real. Stop rushing and start trusting.
2. Set Tiny, Non-Negotiable Commitments
Daily habits build momentum. Choose one brave thing a day and stick to it.
3. Reflect on How Far You've Come
Your evidence of success is already there. Write it down. Celebrate it. Let it fuel your next move.
4. Find Your People
Tenacity doesn't mean doing it alone. Surround yourself with people who get it. Who'll cheer you on when you're wobbling. (This is why I built The Joy Work Members Club.)
5. Choose Progress Over Perfection
Messy action gets you further than waiting to get it right. You'll refine it later—first, just move.
There is joy in sticking with something. In seeing it through. In becoming someone who follows through, who doesn’t ghost their dreams.
And it's not just about business. Tenacity transforms how you show up in life—with your family, your health, your boundaries, your goals.
Tenacity is a decision. A practice. A promise to yourself that says: "I'm not here to dip in and out. I'm here to do the work and watch the magic unfold."
Today, ask yourself:
Where have I been tempted to give up?
What would happen if I didn’t quit?
What small step can I take right now to honour my tenacity?
Write it down. Say it out loud. And take that step.
If you're tired of pushing alone and want to be surrounded by people who won't let you give up on yourself, get on the waitlist for The Joy Work Members Club.
Inside, we don’t just talk strategy, we build courage, celebrate consistency, and reinforce tenacity. It’s where your goals stop being just ideas and start becoming reality.
Because your next breakthrough might not be a new idea. It might just be the decision to keep going.
You’ve got this.
